Graphic Care Instructions
- Polyester, nylon or other synthetic fabrics are normally safe to wash in a machine
- Add mild detergent to warm water and use the gentle cycle on your washing machine
- You can also hand wash the flag with a mild liquid detergent made for delicate items
- Frequent use of washing machine for cleaning flag may harm knitting of the fabric
The 35th Infantry Regiment ("Cacti") was created on 1 July 1916 at Douglas, Arizona from elements of the 11th, 18th and 22nd Infantry Regiments. The 35th served on the Mexico–US border during the First World War and was stationed at Nogales, Arizona in 1918. It fought a border skirmish on 27 August 1918 during the Battle of Ambos Nogales.
