About the 41st Field Artillery Brigade

The 41st Field Artillery Brigade ("Rail Gunners") is a Field Artillery Brigade of the United States Army. Initially operating from October to December 1918, it has served as a Brigade-level staff from 1921–1931, 1942–1944, 1952–1969, 1972–2005, 2007–2015, and 2018 to present. Stationed in Virginia, Hawaii, Oklahoma, Texas, and Germany, the brigade has served in World War II, Vietnam, Operations Desert Shield & Desert Storm, Kosovo, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
