On 20 March 1916 \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pancho_Villa\" title=\"Pancho Villa\"\u003ePancho Villa\u003c\/a\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, a Mexican hero and revolutionary raided the town of \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Columbus,_New_Mexico\" title=\"Columbus, New Mexico\"\u003eColumbus, New Mexico\u003c\/a\u003e\u003cspan\u003e. President \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Woodrow_Wilson\" title=\"Woodrow Wilson\"\u003eWoodrow Wilson\u003c\/a\u003e\u003cspan\u003e ordered Regular Army and Guard units to border patrol duty and expeditions into \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mexico\" title=\"Mexico\"\u003eMexico\u003c\/a\u003e\u003cspan\u003e to hunt down the hero.
